Every day when I look at any of the soul-sucker social media apps I’m greeted with nothing but this ongoing back and forth about A.I. art and it’s impact on art and general.
I should be pleased because it’s a reprieve from the cacophony of Assian Candor chat or whatever Musky pants is up to on Twitter, but I’m not.
I’m dangerously close to sharing my “hot” artist take on A.I. which I doubt really want to, suffice to say I’m no fan of anything that further takes power from artists and gives it to corporations to further minimize and trivialize their skills and benefits.
I. Don’t. Care. What. Your. Take. Is.
However I do think the A.I. cat is out of the bag and it ain’t going back in so now is the time for artists and creators to decide how they’re going to deal with it and its implications.
Like the music industry and Napster before us. Or digital cameras and photographers. It’s a disrupter. It’s a game changer, and we can either thrive or sink.
Or do something else.
Excellent point sir!! 🤟
Enjoyed the little comic 😅
Guess the one good thing about all the chatter going on about AI is that many people(Including myself) artist or otherwise are now more aware of the privacy concerns about training ai, which effects anyone who posts anything online in a public space.
I just wish I saw less of the "CANVA, Ai, NFTs are killing our jobs, anyone who supports it or uses it should be crucified" and promoting fear and exclusion in the industry/community. Creative types can be an open minded bunch, but an anxious bunch too i guess!
